Zara has removed an advertising campaign from its website and mobile app following widespread criticism.
The campaign featured mannequins with missing limbs and statues covered in white sheets, with model Kristen McMenamy posing amid what appeared to be rubble. Pro-Palestine activists claimed the imagery resembled the Israeli assault on Gaza, leading to a social media outcry.
The hashtag "#BoycottZara" gained traction on X (formerly Twitter), amassing over 100,000 comments on Zara's Instagram posts.

Zara's owner stated that the "Atelier" collection was conceptualized in July, and the photos were taken in September, emphasizing the unfortunate timing.Despite the removal of the campaign, protests outside Zara stores continue, with demonstrators criticizing the brand's head designer for past controversial comments about Israel and Palestine.
